St. Joseph’s College in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will offer a program for human resource professionals utilizing the SHRM Learning System, a program designed primarily for individuals seeking certification as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Participants may choose a Saturday course either at the Long Island Campus or the Brooklyn Campus, or an on-line course.
This program is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as study material for the professional in human resources (PHR) and senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by HRCI.
To receive a course certificate, the participants must attend at least four sessions. All participants must score 70% on all tests; or score 70% or better on the final examination.

Course Fee
Program registration fee is $1, 050.00 (SHRM members $1,025.00), which includes all required readings, workbook and mastery tests. Individuals choosing self-study pay basically the same fee for the SHRM Learning Systemmaterials alone. By registering for the St. Joseph's College program, you receive all materials and benefits from courses taught by experienced SPHRs human resource professionals familiar with the exam process.

the PHR or SPHR exams to have a combination of demonstrated work

All certification testing is computer-based and conducted at the 250 Prometric Test Centers around the country. The next testing period is December 1, 2011 to January 31, 2012. To avoid a late fee, register for your exam by October 7, 2011. For best results, schedule your certification exam for a date that is after the end of your particular class section.
