St. Joseph’s College Athletics - Brooklyn Campus

The Brooklyn campus of St. Joseph's College is proud to currently sponsor nine Varsity Sports. As a first-year provisional member of the NCAA, the athletic program has grown tremendously over the past three years under the guidance of Athletic Director Frank P. Carbone, nearly doubling in size and providing a broad range of opportunities for the talented student-athlete. In addition, the Bears and Lady Bears hold national affiliations with the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). On the local level, St. Joseph's has been a long-time member of both the Hudson Valley Men's and Women's Conferences, offering a competitive and challenging environment for each student-athlete. St. Joseph's currently has a number of extremely successful varsity sports: Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Baseball, and Women's Softball. Plans are in the works to add Men's Volleyball to the roster as well (Winter '08). St. Joseph's athletics also sponsors a very accomplished Dance Team and Step Team (competitive, non-varsity).
