The Brooklyn campus of St. Joseph's College is proud to currently sponsor ten Varsity Sports. As a second-year provisional member of the NCAA, the athletic program has grown tremendously over the past four years under the guidance of Athletic Director Frank P. Carbone, nearly doubling in size and providing a broad range of opportunities for the talented student-athlete. In addition, the Bears and Lady Bears hold national affiliations with the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). On the local level, St. Joseph's has been a long-time member of both the Hudson Valley Men's and Women's Conferences, offering a competitive and challenging environment for each student-athlete. If you are interested in sports, we invite you to join the SJC sports family as we embark on one of the most exciting eras in the history of the Brooklyn campus."

St. Joseph's currently has a number of extremely successful varsity sports: Men's & Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Baseball, and Women's Softball. St. Joseph's athletics also sponsors four competetive non-varsity club teams -- Women's Swimming, Dance Team, Step Team and Men's Golf.
