St. Joseph’s College, in partnership with Greenlight Bookstore, is pleased to announce that it will welcome activist and author Colin Beavan to discuss his latest work, How to Be Alive: A Guide To The Kind of Happiness That Helps The World, in conversation with ABC’s Dan Harris. This event, the first in the spring 2016 Brooklyn Voices series, will take place on Thursday, January 7.

Brooklyn author Colin Beavan attracted international attention for his year-long “No Impact” lifestyle redesign project, which became the wildly popular book No Impact Man and inspired a Sundance-selected documentary film. With his new book, How to Be Alive: A Guide to the Kind of Happiness That Helps the World, Beavan extends a hand to everyone seeking more meaning and joy in life.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. in SJC Brooklyn’s Tuohy Hall Auditorium. Tickets are $26 and include a copy of the book and an opportunity to have it personally signed following the discussion.
