New Student Orientation

Prior to the beginning of each semester, orientation activities are held to familiarize new students with the University’s resources and to assist in the transition from high school or college to St. Joseph's University, New York.

The program is planned to facilitate the adjustment to college life and includes conferences, academic advisement, peer mentoring, student services information, and social activities.

Orientation continues during the fall semester through the Freshman Year Experience Program and the Faculty Advisement Program.

Transfer students are also invited to participate in all activities and offered the SJC 200 seminar as part of their orientation process.
