Bio

Was given merit-based Government of India scholarship for M.A. during 1966-68. Had taught in a University of Delhi college since 1968 till moving to the U.S.A. Also taught at the University of Salahuddin during 1980-82. Taught English to foreign diplomats at the Foreign Service Institute, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Taught English at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and also at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Project on the Effectiveness of Printed Materials in teaching of English to Distance Education students at the University of Delhi. The project was financed and supported by the University Grants Commission, Government of India.

Edited an Anthology of Indian Poetry prescribed for English Honors Students by the University of Delhi in 2007-8.
