  The Clare Rose Playhouse will begin its 31st season with Other Desert Cities, by Jon Robin Baitz. Other Desert Cities focuses on Brooke Wyeth who returns to her hometown to announce that she will be publishing her memoir detailing the truth about her home, much to her family’s chagrin.  The Clare Rose Playhouse at SJC Long Island, Patchogue, New York. 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; 3 p.m. on Sundays.

  Centennial Kickoff Celebration

  SJC Long Island is pleased to host a Centennial Kickoff with a Community Day celebration that will feature food, beverages and activities for children of all ages. Throughout the day, guests are invited to tour SJC Long Island’s lakeside campus, visit an art show, partake in men’s and women’s soccer games, and participate in acting and improv classes, exercise and dance classes, and career and educational workshops.
