Twelve groups of nine wearing color-coordinated T-shirts represented their respective nursing homes in the Suffolk County Golden Games at the John A. Danzi Athletic Center on Friday, May 14. The Golden Games is an all-day senior olympics for nursing home residents in Suffolk County. More >>


St. Joseph's College Bike TourCoast-to-Coast Bicycle Tour Rescheduled

The Coast-to-Coast Bicycle Tour, as featured in the winter 2010 issue of St. Joseph's College Magazine and originally slated for 2010, will now take place in the summer of 2011. The extended date allows for the opportunity to raise more funds and increase participation, making the ride an even bigger event. More >>

As Camelia Vega began the walk-trot event in the final competition last March, a sense of urgency settled in. St. Joseph's equestrian team entered the final meet of the regular season 22 points ahead of Fairfield and, during the meet, the lead began to slowly vanish. The Golden Eagles needed a spark.
