Celebrating its 25th anniversary season, the Clare Rose Playhouse is holding auditions for the Stephen Schwartz production of Godspell on Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8 at 7 p.m. Singers/actors are needed for this all alumni cast. Musicians are also needed to play drums, bass guitar and lead guitar. Production opens February 19 and runs through March 7. For more information, call the Clare Rose Playhouse at 631.654.0199.

St. Joseph’s College is pleased to announce that it will honor Lisa Rose ’97, Clare Rose Inc., at its 27th Annual Dinner Dance and Monte Carlo Night on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Cocktails and casino begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing at 7:30 p.m. Dress is business attire and tickets are $400 per person. The Dr. Reza and Georgianna Clifford Khatib Chair in Comparative Religion Lecture: “Islam in the 21st Century”

St. Joseph’s College is pleased to present the lecture “Islam in the 21st Century” featuring Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, noted Egyptian-American author and the inaugural Dr. Reza and Georgianna Clifford Khatib Chair in Comparative Religion on Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. on the Long Island Campus. The purpose of the lecture is to promote interfaith dialog with the study of Islam being an integral part of the initiative. The lecture is free and open to the public.
