Criminal Justice
St. Joseph’s College offers a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice on both campuses ( and ). it Criminal Justice prepares students for law school, graduate school and research. The program also offers a great base the student who
is ready to devote him/herself to the criminal justice system as a
practitioner or leader. The program contains a unique curriculum in which students choose one of three tracks of study to go along with courses in criminal justice.
By choosing a track, students specialize in a specific field while obtaining an understanding of the nature of crime and criminal law in society and the inner workings of the police, courts and corrections. Together these components make up the elements of the criminal justice system. One aspect of the program is the requirement of an internship for students to attain experience in the field and enhance their prospects for employment.
