Ervin Maddox Named USCAA National Player of the Week
 | | Ervin Maddox | For the week of ending February 18th, sophomore point guard Ervin Maddox (St. Peters / Staten Island, NY) was named the USCAA Men's Division II Basketball National Player of the Week.Ervin averaged 17.5 points & 5.5 assists in a tough week for the Bears where they played 4 games in 6 days, capped by a tough overtime loss in the Hudson Valley Conference Championship game against Berkeley College. He led the Bears in scoring in both losses against CSI & Berkeley, with 24 points in both games. For the 4 game stretch, Ervin also shot 52.6% from behind the arc.
Ervin is the 3rd St. Joseph's College Basketball player to be selected for the honor this season. Mike Donnelly received the award for the week ending Jan. 14 after eclipsing the 1000 point plateau and Lynette Reyes received the award the first week of the season after her impressive performance in the Lady Bears' season opener vs. Christendom College.
