Annamarie Ciorciari Named Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week

Senior guard Annamarie Ciorciari (Queens, NY) was named the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) Player of the Week for the week ending December 9th, 2007. She is the first Lady Bear Basketball player to receive the honor since joining AD3I last season.

Ciorciari helped carry the Lady Bears in two tough non-conference road losses. Her week was highlighted by a double-double performance against New Jersey City University on Dec. 5 when she put up 19 points and 10 rebounds. For the week she averaged 18.5 points, 7 rebounds, 3.5 assists & 3 steals per game. Ciorciari also shot 32.4 percent from the field (12 for 37) and 80.0 percent from the charity stripe (12 for 15).
