Financial Aid

St. Joseph's College students find an affordable college of academic excellence, real-life learning, personal attention and a vibrant, caring community.

All matriculating students, including transfer students, may apply for financial aid. Your consideration for a scholarship or financial aid from St. Joseph's is dependent upon your submitting an application and receiving official notification of your acceptance into the college. To be considered for a scholarship and/or other types of financial aid from government or college sources, the student should follow these procedures each year:

Brooklyn- Instructions for Brooklyn Students

Patchogue- Instructions for Suffolk Students

Priority for certain financial aid programs will be given to students who adhere to recommended filing dates:

Filing Dates - Both Campuses
Fall entering new students: February 25
Fall entering transfer students: March 15
Continuing students: April 30
Spring entering students: November 1 (new and transfers)

Tuition & fees/Tuition Policy: The 2007/2008 Tuition & fees/Tuition Policy can be downloaded from the Bursar's Office. This policy contains all student tuition and financial information for both St. Joseph's College campuses regarding all fees and their stipulations.

Payment Plans: St. Joseph's College makes several tuition financing options available through deferment programs. Interested students can obtain brochures and applications from the Business Office.

Credit Card Payment: St. Joseph's College now accepts credit cards online so students can pay via the internet. Sign in to your account to take advantage of this feature!
