Government and Community Relations
The department of Government and Community Relations at St. Joseph's College serves as the liaison between St. Joseph's and the community. We work closely with NYC and LI officials and agencies, neighborhood organizations, business associations, social service providers, and other local organizations and individuals on issues of mutual interest to SJC and the community.
The department enhances the College's stature, supports its mission and promotes civic engagement at the neighborhood, city, regional, state and national levels. We look forward to exploring ways of cooperating with our neighbors to enhance the area's quality of life, and the department of Government and Community relations will continue working with members of the local community to facilitate such collaborative efforts.
