Information & Directions To St. Joseph’s College’s Softball Facility
Keyspan’s Greenpoint Softball Field
We are pleased to announce that thanks to an arrangement with Keyspan
Energy, St. Joseph’s College – Brooklyn will be able to host softball games
again this season. This private field is located on the corner of Vandervoort
Avenue and Maspeth Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (adjacent to former site
of the Keyspan tanks).
St. Joseph’s College is located in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn at 245
Clinton Ave. The Keyspan Greenpoint Field is the site for all St. Joseph’s
College softball home games and is located just 10 minutes away from the St.
Joseph’s College campus. The field is owned and maintained by Keyspan Energy.

Please note:
• the field will be open for both teams one hour prior to the scheduled
start time of each softball game (please do not arrive too early);
• the field has lights, so each game will be completed as long as
weather conditions permit;
• ample parking is available on either Vandervoort or Maspeth avenues.
By car from Queens and Long Island
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) – Exit 34 (Meeker / Morgan Ave.)
At bottom of exit ramp, make an immediate left turn at the traffic light. Cross
Under the expressway and continue straight on Vandervoort Avenue past the
Greenpoint Little League fields (on your left) and past the Keypspan Energy
complex until you reach the corner of Maspeth Ave. (about ½ mile). The field is on your left (across from the truck wash).
From Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) – Exit 33 (McGuinness Blvd. / Humboldt St.) Bear left on exit ramp towards McGuinness Blvd. Once at traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, continue straight along meeker ave. (following underneath the expressway). Stay straight on Meeker Ave. for 4 traffic lights until you reach Vandervoort Ave. (last light before next entrance ramp to BQE). Make a right turn on to Vandervoort Ave. And continue straight past the Greenpoint Little League fields (on your left) and past the Keypspan Energy complex until you reach the corner of Maspeth Ave. (about ½ mile). the field is on your left (across from the truck wash). |
