Hill, CSJ, J.D., President of St. Joseph’s College, Sister Loretta McGrann, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, St. Joseph’s College, and Loretta DiLorenzo, Associate Dean of Academic Programs at Kingsborough Community College, City University of New York, will host the Kingsborough Community College/CUNY and St. Joseph’s College Articulation Agreement Signing Ceremony at the Brooklyn campus of St. Joseph’s College on Friday, June 23, 2006 at noon in the McEntegart Hall Library, 222 Clinton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
“We are pleased to be working with our colleagues at Kingsborough Community College to formulate this articulation agreement for the benefit of both of our Colleges,” said Sister Elizabeth A. Hill. “It is a happy day when two academic institutions can join forces to help students attain their educational goals.”
The articulation agreement has been prepared to help the entry process of students who have earned their Associate’s degree from Kingsborough Community College, to the Baccalaureate programs of St. Joseph’s College. The academic programs included in the agreement are Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Information Systems, Organizational Management, Community Health and Human Services and Health Administration. The Nursing departments of the two institutions are also in discussion to create an articulation agreement for their programs.
The agreement announced today is not the first time Kingsborough Community College and St. Joseph’s College have collaborated. In January 2005, an articulation agreement was formed for a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Recreation.
