St. Joseph’s College Introduces Professional Human Resources Certificate Program
Certification can be completed online or over six alternating Saturday classes.

BROOKLYN, NY – AUGUST 10, 2006 – St. Joseph’s College and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM®) are collaborating to offer a program to certify human resource professionals employing the SHRM® Learning System. This certification course can be completed entirely online or within six alternating Saturday classes.

The St. Joseph’s College Professional Human Resources Certification program offers classes taught by experienced human resources professionals familiar with the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) exam and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exam processes. The registration fee for the course, $985 ($965 for SHRM® members), covers all materials, including the required readings, workbook and mastery tests. The course will start on Saturday, September 16 and will end with a final exam on December 6, 2006. Classes will last from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The online course, which is instructor led, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from September 25 to December 11, 2006.

An orientation for the Saturday program will be held on Thursday, September 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Lorenzo Hall located at 265 Clinton Avenue on the College’s Brooklyn Campus.
