Performance by Salsa MagicBrings Month-Long Celebration to a Close at St. Joseph’s College

PATCHOGUE, NY – SEPTEMBER 6, 2006 – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Office of Multicultural Student Life at St. Joseph’s College is excited to welcome the Latin dance spectacular Salsa Magic to its Suffolk campus on September 26, 2006 from 12:40 to 1:40 PM.

Salsa Magic is an energetic, interactive Latin dance group that features the talents of two award-winning salsa dancers. Lee and Florcita have danced their way from Canada to the Dominican Republic, winning the Natura Park Salsa Competition in Punta Cana. While on campus, the duo is set to perform their flavorful salsa routine while involving the audience in “booty shaking” contests and salsa lessons.

A Hispanic Food Festival, featuring traditional Latin cuisine will immediately follow the performance in the College’s cafeteria located in the basement of O’Connor Hall.
