PATCHOGUE, NY – SEPTEMBER 18, 2006 — St. Joseph’s College, noted for its academic excellence, has announced its 41st fall program offering of Especially For Children and Young People. The fall 2006 program, which will be held at St. Joseph’s Suffolk campus in Patchogue on Saturday mornings from October 21 through December 9, 2006, will be offered to students in grades K-7. Since class size is limited, early registration is suggested.
An exciting array of courses in math discovery, Spanish, cartooning, computers, kindergarten skills, creative writing and study skills have been designed to stimulate curiosity and broaden the student’s awareness of the world in which we live. In addition, courses in supplemental math and reading will be available to provide reinforcement of the skills learned during the school year. A swim program will run in conjunction with the assistant/ enrichment classes.
All courses are taught by New York State certified teachers in a caring environment, with a specific focus on the child.
