PATCHOGUE, NY – MAY 16, 2007 – St. Joseph’s College Lions Club, in cooperation with the Patchogue Lions Club, will host a carnival weekend from May 31 through June 3, 2007 to benefit the Long Island Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. along with various other local charitable organizations.
The St. Joseph’s College Lions Club offers its members the opportunity to give back to their communities by involving them in local projects to improve upon their neighborhood’s surroundings. Today, Lions Clubs all over the world have expanded their focus to the global community as a whole, with their efforts catering to the challenges that they face on a daily basis, never wavering from their motto of: “We Serve.”
The St. Joseph’s College Lions Club Carnival will be on the College’s Long Island Campus on Thursday, May 31 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.; Friday, June 1 from 6:00-11:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 2 from 2:00-10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, June 3 from 2:00-10:00 p.m. Tickets for Thursday are $20 per person; tickets will be sold separately for each attraction Friday through Sunday.
