PATCHOGUE, NY – May 11, 2005 — St. Joseph’s College, noted for its academic excellence, will again offer the summer weekday program Especially For Children and Young People on its Suffolk campus from July 6 through July 28, 2005. The program will be offered to students in grades K-7. Since class size is limited, early registration is suggested.
Offerings include an exciting array of courses in math discovery, Spanish, cartooning, kindergarten skills, computers, science, test strategies, creative writing and art, which have been designed to stimulate curiosity and broaden the student’s awareness of the world in which we live. In addition, courses in supplemental math and reading will be available to provide reinforcement of the skills learned during the school year.
A swim program will run in conjunction with the academic classes/enrichment classes.
All courses are taught by New York State certified teachers in a caring environment with a specific focus on the child.
