PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – JANUARY 27, 2014 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with the Huntington Business Incubator (Biz Inc) to host “Obamacare & You: Are You Eligible and How to Sign Up” on Tuesday, January 28 at Biz Inc in Huntington, N.Y. at 5:30 p.m.
The presenters for the event include John Sardelis, Dr.P.H., associate chairman of health care management at SJC and the founder of the SJC Healthcare Center for Outreach, Research and Education (CORE), and Janine Logan, director of communications for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council.
“Obamacare is complex, so unfortunately, many who might benefit are confused and may not bother to apply,” said Sardelis. “Our goal is to explain how the law works so that individuals can make informed decisions, and perhaps gain valuable healthcare coverage for themselves and their families.”
Networking will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the program at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A. This event is free and open to the public. RSVP to Diane Teets at 631.351.2881 or email@example.com.
