Hugh Ash (trumpets) and Alice Jones (flutes) present an inventive and sonically adventurous program of works by Marion Bauer, Luciano Berio, Max Robb, Georg Philipp Telemann. Almost no music exists for a trumpet and flute duo, and the performers creatively tackle this unsurprising but unfortunate musical oversight through improvisation, transcription, and new arrangements of works from around the world.
