Ite Ad Joseph (Go to Joseph): a Presentation by Thomas Petriano, Ph.d.
October 7, 2021
Shea Conference Room LI
Can art be a helpful resource in trying to understand who St. Joseph was and his relevance for us today? As we continue to celebrate the “Year of St. Joseph,” this presentation will look at various representations of St. Joseph in the history of art and music, in order to understand this silent figure of the gospels who has had a powerful influence on the Christian imagination throughout the past two millennia.
