SJC to Hold 20th Annual Golf Tournament

BROOKLYN AND PATCHOGUE, NY MAY 13, 2010 St. Josephs College announced today that it will hold its 20th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 7 at the Plandome Country Club in Plandome, NY. The 2010 honoree is Stephen Keating, president and founder of Keating Associates, Inc., a full-service academic marketing agency located in South Natick, MA. All proceeds from this event will support the Colleges athletic programs.

"One of the most knowledgeable and professional people in the industry, I have had the pleasure of working with Steve Keating for more than 20 years, said Vice President for Enrollment Management Theresa LaRocca Meyer. "It has been a privilege to work with Keating Associates, Inc. while they managed our advertising campaign the last eight years and continue to develop all the major recruitment publications for the College.

Combining both his career in college admissions and his work as a marketing consultant, Stephen Keating established Keating Associates, Inc. to provide communication strategies to educational institutions. Over the past 25 years, Keating Associates, Inc. has successfully created academic marketing pieces and crafted creative campaigns for more than 100 universities, colleges, secondary schools and organizations. Keating Associates, Inc. has won numerous awards for their creative efforts, including the Circle of Excellence Award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and The Mary T. Holland Award for Creative Excellence.

Mr. Keating received a B.A. degree in English from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. He continued his post graduate studies in public administration at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Currently, he lives in Shrewsbury, MA with his wife, Tracy, and their three children, Brenna, Bridget and Sean.
