  • Wordless Eloquence Artist Talk and Dessert

Wordless Eloquence Artist Talk and Dessert

    Saturday, November 16, 2019
    1:00 pm
    Alumni Room Gallery, Tuohy Hall

    Curated by Michael Miller
    Oct. 30 to Nov. 27, 2019

    Featured artists:
    Ai Campbell
    Garrett Klein
    Elizabeth Meggs
    Robert Szot

The four artists in this show have a common characteristic: they all seek to communicate ideas through their painting without making reference to recognizable objects or events. Beyond this shared commitment to non-representational painting, each artist employs a highly distinctive and sophisticated visual language — a kind of “wordless eloquence” — in order to convey their personal, artistic, philosophical or even metaphysical concerns.

    Gallery hours:
    Wednesdays, 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 1 to 3 p.m.

Take the G train to Clinton/Washington Avenues

All events are free and open to the public.
