  In partnership with Greenlight Bookstore, join us for a virtual webinar with Tariq Shah '19 and Lee Clay Johnson, director of the Writer's Foundry at SJC Brooklyn.

  Shah’s Whiteout Conditions follows Ant, who is in Chicago for a funeral. Since most of his family has passed away, he finds himself attracted to the endearing qualities of funerals until the tragic death of his childhood friend. With a poet’s sensibility, Shah navigates the murky responsibilities of adulthood, grief, toxic masculinity and the tragedy of revenge in this haunting Midwestern noir.
