"Elizabeth Gilbert proves her skills as a novelist are no less than her talents as a memoirist with her latest novel, encompassing nature, science, sex and the beginning of the modern era, said Jessica Stockton Bagnulo, co-owner of the Greenlight Bookstore. "Were honored to have the opportunity to introduce Gilbert to her many Brooklyn fans, and help to launch the paperback edition of The Signature of All Things.

The story of an irrepressible woman, determined to satisfy her most powerful urges toward both love and knowledge, this is a novel immersed in all the great questions of the 19th century but also very much a novel for our times.
