Online Learning Community Launches at SJC

BROOKLYN and PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – July 8, 2015 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce that SJC Online, the College’s new, fully online learning community, is now available and offers 15 online degree programs for students who are interested in earning an undergraduate or graduate degree, advanced certificate or dual degree online. 

SJC Online is the College’s third campus, joining SJC Long Island and SJC Brooklyn to promote career and educational advancement and provide college students of all ages with the knowledge and skills that pertain to numerous career fields, all accomplished from the comfort of your own personal computer.

“Over the last 15 years, SJC has developed more than 100 online courses for its current students, with an emphasis on expert instruction and innovative curriculum,” said Mark Hessler, coordinator of innovative instruction and professor of history. “The new SJC Online will expand SJC’s educational mission to reach regional, national and international populations. With a robust student support system, personalized advisement and a value-centered approach to education, SJC Online will inaugurate the next chapter in the College’s 100 years of service.”

At competitive tuition rates, the new offerings will include programs designed for students with diverse interests, working experiences and educational backgrounds. 

The online undergraduate degree programs include:
•    B.S. in Criminal Practice and Policy
•    B.S. in General Studies
•    B.S. in Health Administration
•    B.S. in Human Services
•    B.S. in Organizational Management 

Undergraduate and advanced certificate programs include:
•    Human Resources 
•    Human Resources Management
•    Human Services Leadership
•    Leadership and Supervision

Graduate degree programs include:
•    Executive Master’s in Business Administration 
•    Master’s in Human Services Leadership
•    Master’s in Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management
•    Master’s in Management with a concentration in Organizational Management 

Dual degree programs include:
•    B.S. in Organizational Management/Executive Master’s in Business Administration 
•    B.S. in Human Services/Master’s in Human Services Leadership
