SJC to Hold 27th Annual Dinner Dance and Monte Carlo Night

BROOKLYN AND PATCHOGUE, NY October 23, 2009 St. Josephs College will hold its 27th Annual Dinner Dance and Monte Carlo Night on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, N.Y. Cocktails and casino begin at 6 p.m.; dinner and dancing will immediately follow at 7:30 p.m. Guests participating in the Monte Carlo will be awarded prizes only; no cash winnings will be given. Proceeds from this event will benefit student scholarships.

This years business affair, which is being co-chaired by Ken Meyer of Clare Rose, Inc., and S. Elizabeth A. Hill, C.S.J., J.D., president of St. Josephs College, will honor Lisa Rose 97 with both the 2009 Distinguished Citizen and the Outstanding Alumna awards.

Lisa Rose 97 is a third generation employee of Clare Rose, Inc., one of the largest Anheuser-Busch wholesalers in the nation. Former CEO and president of the family business, Ms. Rose currently serves on the companys board. A devoted alumna and trustee of St. Josephs College, she is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital and the Culinary Arts Board at Suffolk County Community College. In 2003, Ms. Rose received the Hospitality Excellence Award for professionalism from Suffolk County Community College.
