Brooklyn Economics B.S. and M.B.A. Dual Degree

Brooklyn Economics B.S. and M.B.A. Dual Degree

Prepare to complete both degrees in five years.

Our B.S. in Economics and MBA dual degree program blends the disciplines of economics and business, preparing graduates for a successful transition into a career in finance, sales, marketing, administration and other managerial fields. Students save time and money taking courses during their senior year that count toward both degrees, helping them complete the dual degree program in just five years.

Our Economics undergraduate degree teaches students problem-solving skills required to rise to top-tier managerial positions (economists earned an average annual income of $105,020 in 2019, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Our rigorous, hands-on MBA program adds to those skills, building managerial confidence and critical thinking through experiential learning in the workplace.

St. Joseph’s Economics/MBA students graduate with the knowledge and experience necessary to thrive in the constantly changing business environment. Students graduate with a deep understanding of local economies, consumer behavior, global markets, public policy and the legal and regulatory environment.

Students planning to pursue our Economics B.S. and MBA dual degree should consult with their adviser about any necessary requirements.

"St. Joseph's University allowed me to combine two of my interests — business and economics — while interacting with professors who taught me valuable skills that I could use both on and off campus. I gained invaluable knowledge of the world of business and economics, which I am confident will help me in my professional career."
