Kappa Delta Pi

The Education Honor Society of the Brooklyn campus.

The St. Joseph's University Alpha Epsilon Omega chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) was established at the Brooklyn campus in Fall 2010.

Kappa Delta Pi is an international education honor society, numbering more than 1,200,000 members worldwide, with the goals of recognizing scholarship and enhancing the professional development of educators.

  • Every fall, our KDP chapter invites juniors, seniors, and second-year graduate students to join our chapter.  Membership is based on the overall grade point average.
  • Past members include Albert Einstein, George Washington Carver, Eleanor Roosevelt and Margaret Mead

Our members have had the opportunity to attend educational workshops and have been involved in activities such as Literacy Alive during which children are invited from the community to participate in literacy-related activities.
