"[I attended SJC because] it was affordable and the small size of the school appealed to me.

"After graduation, I interned at the Jewish Historical Society in Manhattan and worked as an admin assistant at a charity foundation. In the fall of 2014, I was accepted to the M.A program in History at the City College of New York.

"All the professors at the History Department, Prof Dehne, Prof Maust and Prof Lehr were amazing and I learned a lot from them.

"Also, while I never had him as a professor, the Associate Dean for Student Success, Matt Kubacki was incredibly helpful and friendly when it came to academic planning and made my time at SJCNY a lot easier.

"The same goes for the Assistant Director of International Admissions, Kevyn Piascik."
