Are you passionate about computing? Do you want to help inspire generations of tech-savvy students to share that same passion as you? If so, then prepare for a career that’s at the very heart of our digital future with SJC Brooklyn’s B.S in Computer Science Teacher Certification.

Our program — one of the first of its kind in New York state — provides St. Joseph’s College students with the necessary skills to become a teacher of computer science and computing technology in grades K-12. With three distinct pathways, the program is open to traditional students looking for a four-year degree, those who already hold a teaching certificate in another field, and those who already have experience in the industry and who hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.

From introducing a kindergartener to their first Chromebook or iPad to teaching AP Computer Science in high school, get ready to make a difference in the field of computer science education.
