Bio

Dr. Harry Voulgarakis is an Assistant Professor of Child Study, as well as a psychologist and behavior analyst specializing in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. He is experienced in assessing people from infancy through adulthood who may present with autism; ADHD; learning disorders; language and communication disorders; and complex genetic, medical, and behavioral profiles. At SJNY, he teaches coursework that includes research methods, child development, applied behavior analysis and psychoeducational assessment. Dr. Voulgarakis is also active in research, policy and teaching within and outside of the University. He is an executive board member of the NYSPA Forensic Psychology division, regularly provides consultation and training to schools and organizations, and has served as an expert witness and evaluator. He is an editorial board member for The Clinical Neuropsychologist, reviewer for Children’s Health Care and other academic journals, and sits on several University and external committees. His work has appeared in such other outlets as Autism Spectrum News and at research conferences across the globe.
