Program for Access and Student Success Part-time Learning Specialist/Proctor

Duties:

  • Assisting the students for 28 hours/week  
  • Proctoring assessments for PASS students
  • Collecting data on individual students monthly 
  • Reporting to the Director on a daily/weekly basis to discuss individual students 
  • Monitoring students’ academic progress 
  • Developing strategies for time management, study skills, and organization 
  • General exam preparation and test-taking skills 
  • Developing stress & test anxiety management coping skills
  • Assisting with other duties determined by the Director

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education
  • Knowledge of students with special needs 
  • Experience working with students with special needs for a minimum of two years
  • Flexible schedule 
  • Proficient in MS Word and Google Calendar
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time-management skills
