Full-time Non-tenure Track Faculty Position in Computer Science

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at St. Joseph’s College, Brooklyn, NY invites applicants for a full-time non-tenure track position in Computer Science at the rank of Teaching Instructor or Assistant Teaching Professor beginning Fall 2022. Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and experience teaching computer science at the undergraduate level.

St. Joseph’s Brooklyn campus is located in the tree lined neighborhood of Clinton Hill, close to the G and C subway line.  

Candidates will be evaluated on their potential for teaching excellence, ability to teach a range of computer science classes in a liberal arts environment, potential to engage undergraduate students in research and projects, and commitment to service to the department and college. Data Science experience preferred. Review of applications will begin February 15, 2022 and continue until the positions is filled.

Application materials should include a cover letter, CV, a statement of teaching philosophy, graduate transcripts, and three letters of recommendation, at least one of which speaks to the applicant’s teaching ability. Attachments must be in MS Word or Adobe PDF formats. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application process, but official transcripts will be expected from the final candidate.  Note: St. Joseph’s College does not sponsor H-1B visas.
