Clare Rose Playhouse Presents ‘Bedside Manners’

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – MARCH 21, 2016 – The Clare Rose Playhouse, a community theater at SJC Long Island, will continue its 31st anniversary season with the comedy, Bedside Manners. The show will run from April 22 through May 8, 2016.

In Bedside Manners by Derek Benfield, Ferris reluctantly agrees to look after his sister’s seedy country inn, but does not anticipate the wild comings and goings of her affairs. Over the course of his house-sitting, Ferris becomes engulfed in lies and confusion as he tries to prevent the meetings of husbands, wives and lovers in compromising situations.

The Clare Rose Playhouse is accessible via the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway, just east of Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue) in Patchogue, on the northeast corner of SJC Long Island.

A former cottage converted in 1985 through the generosity and guidance of the man for whom it is named, the Playhouse serves as a major teaching facility for the College’s theater courses and a training ground for young actors.
