President S. Elizabeth Hill Honored as Remarkable Female Leader

PATCHOGUE, NY MARCH 16, 2012 The Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, The Nassau and Suffolk Womens Bar Associations and The Partnership to Advance Women Leaders (PAWL) will honor St. Josephs College President S. Elizabeth A. Hill, C.S.J., J.D. as a remarkable female leader at "Ready, Set, Lead! Womens Future Where do we go from here? This event will take place on Friday, March 23 from 69 p.m. at the Melville Marriott in Melville, NY.

"I am very honored to have been included in such a distinguished group of honorees, said S. Elizabeth A. Hill, C.S.J., J.D., president of St. Josephs College. "Each one has accomplished so much in her professional life, and serves as a real model of leadership and courage, especially to young women who are beginning their careers. I am very grateful to The Nassau and Suffolk Bar Associations, The Nassau and Suffolk Womens Bar Associations and The Partnership to Advance Women Leaders for this recognition.

Moderated by CNN Reporter Sandra Endo, this Womens History Month celebration will include a discussion by the honorees about inspiring women to obtain leadership positions.

Business Kris Fischer, Editor of the New York Law Journal

Medicine Dr. Virginia Maurer, Breast Surgeon and Founder of The Maurer Foundation for Breast Health

Public Service Theresa Regnante, Chief Executive Officer of United Way

In recent years, S. Elizabeth Hill has been honored by a number of organizations, including the American Association of University Women, Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology (ACIT), The Long Island Association (LIA), Temple Beth El, the Child Care Council of Suffolk, Inc., the NAACP Long Island Coalition of Branches, and most recently, Whos Who of American Women.
