SJC to Host Third Annual HR Diversity Conference

PATCHOGUE, NY April 1, 2011 The Office of Continuing Education and Coordinator of Diversity Initiatives at St. Josephs College will host the third annual human resources diversity conference, Transformational Leadership: Reshaping Your Organization for the Inside Out on Friday, April 8 at its Long Island Campus located in Patchogue, NY.

"We, at St. Joseph's College, pride ourselves on the programs we have developed to create influential business leaders," said Thomas Travis, vice president and dean of professional and graduate studies at St. Joseph's College. "This conference was assembled to teach those in attendance the skills and theories that will set them apart from the average everyday worker."

Human resources professionals are invited to register for this full-day conference, which will include leadership and team-building workshops. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Robert M. Krug, assistant professor of business in the department of graduate management studies at St. Joseph's College and a board member of the Society for Business Ethics. This event will conclude at 3:30 p.m.

The cost is $75 for an individual, $150 for a group of three from the same company and $25 for SJC students, faculty, staff and alumni.
