The Clare Rose Playhouse Presents “The Retreat from Moscow”

Patchogue, N.Y. – February 6, 2015 – The Clare Rose Playhouse, a community theater on the Long Island Campus of St. Joseph’s College (SJC), will continue its 30th anniversary season with the drama, The Retreat from Moscow. The show will run from February 20 through March 8, 2015.

In The Retreat from Moscow by William Nicholson, a husband finally decides to be completely truthful in his marriage. His wife and son take the emotional journey with him and their lives are never the same. Secrets are revealed and a marriage spanning three decades comes to a painful end.

The Clare Rose Playhouse is accessible via the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway, just east of Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue) in Patchogue, on the northeast corner of the campus of SJC.

ABOUT THE CLARE ROSE PLAYHOUSE
A former cottage converted in 1985 through the generosity and guidance of the man for whom it is named, the Playhouse serves as a major teaching facility for the College’s theater courses and a training ground for young actors. The Playhouse is the site of community theater productions of musicals, dramas, comedies, cabaret acts, musical performances, dance troupes and comedians.
