SJC Announces Summer Program for Children

PATCHOGUE, NY MAY 24, 2011 St. Josephs College, noted for its academic excellence, has announced its 55th program offering of Especially for Children and Young People. The summer 2011 program, which will be held at the Long Island Campus of St. Josephs College on weekday mornings from July 6 - 28, 2011, will be offered to students in grades K-7. Since class size is limited, early registration is suggested.

An exciting array of courses in Spanish, Italian, oceanography, art, math and science discovery, chemistry, computer, creative writing and kindergarten skills have been designed to stimulate curiosity and broaden the students awareness of the world in which we live. In addition, courses in supplemental math and reading will be available to provide reinforcement of the skills learned during the school year. A swim program will run in conjunction with the assistant/enrichment classes.

All courses are taught by New York State certified teachers in a caring environment, with a specific focus on the child.
