ST. JOSEPH’S COLLEGE TO HOST WELLNESS SERIES

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – January 11, 2018 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Nature's Bounty Foundation that will allow the College to host a Wellness Series for the College and surrounding community. 

The schedule of events is:
Wednesday, April 4, 8 p.m.: Webinar: “Ten Ways to Relax and Raise Your Vibration” 
Wednesday, April 11, 5:30 p.m.: Workshop at SJC Long Island: “Mindfulness for Everyday Living”
Wednesday, April 18, 8 p.m.: Webinar: “Rocks, Pebbles and Sand: A Simple Method of Work/Life Balance” 
Wednesday, April 25, 8:30 a.m.: Workshop at SJC Long Island: “Cracking the Code: Healthy Eating Made Easy”

These events will be led by wellness experts including Jean Summit-Riker ’95, Usui/Karuna Reiki master teacher and practitioner, hypnotist and author; Peter Lin, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and associate professor at SJC; Retha Fernandez ’16, former executive director of information technology at the Estée Lauder Companies, Inc.; and Renée M. Barbis ’11, certified holistic health coach.
