Four-session preparation workshop for the NYS Multi-Subject Content Specialty Test – Mathematics

The Office of Continuing Education at St. Joseph’s College is offering a four-session preparation workshop for the New York State Multi-Subject Content Specialty Test – Mathematics

The Course

This is a CST Workshop geared towards child study majors that helps provide instructional strategies and concept strategies to prepare you for the exam.

The workshop series is designed to build a math foundation using concept development and deep understanding for:

  1. Numbers and operations
  2. Ratios and proportions
  3. Rate and percent
  4. Number systems
  5. Algebra
  6. Geometry
  7. Measurement and data 

Also:

  1. Instruction in mathematics
  2. Effective essay writing

Fall 2021 Session

There is currently one session being offered.

Participants must attend every session of this four-session workshop. A second workshop will be added if the maximum number of participants is reached.

Wednesday workshop sessions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following dates via Zoom:

  • Wednesday, October 6, 2021
  • Wednesday, October 13, 2021
  • Wednesday, October 20, 2021
  • Wednesday, October 27, 2021

Course Details

The instructor for this CST Workshop is Michael Joseph, M.S.
 
Session Fee: $90 (payable by credit card). Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email, along with a credit card authorization form to fill out. A $20.00 processing fee that will be charged when refund is processed.

Registration Form

This workshop is for Alumni and currently enrolled St. Joseph's College students.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Minimum enrollments will be required.
