The Biology minor aims to widen students’ outlook on life and its interrelationships with various non-biologic fields, while preparing students for an ever-increasingly technological future. We at St. Joseph’s believe that understanding the biologic world and how it works are necessary in an educated person and relate to logic and depth of thought.

The Biology minor consists of 20 credits in which an average of C must be maintained. The minor consists of Bio 150/151 and 3 additional courses above the Bio 151 level with departmental approval. Students wishing to pursue a minor should consult with an advisor in the Biology Department.
