SJC Long Island Studio Art Minor
Studio art courses develop students’ creative potential through projects and assignments that address technical proficiency, conceptual exploration and self-expression.
This flexible minor can enrich any field of study and allows students to focus on artistic disciplines of their choice. Students may select from a variety of studio art courses, including drawing, painting, printmaking, digital photography, graphic design, web design, sculpture, ceramics and crafts. Art history courses span the prehistoric period through the modern era and examine contemporary visual culture.
