Therapeutic Recreation

The minor in therapeutic recreation will help to further prepare students interested in working with persons with disabilities in both clinical and community-based settings.

Students who pursue majors in fields such as Psychology, Speech Therapy, Biology, and Criminal Justice can benefit from broadening their knowledge base and refining skills that align their respective majors with this minor. The minor in therapeutic recreation is 18 credits, with 15 credits at the 200-or-above level.
