International Student Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIP INSTRUCTIONS

In addition to academic merit, the scholarship committee considers students' contributions to their schools and communities through activities and service. St. Joseph's University applies a holistic approach to determine scholarship eligibility including a review of class grades, curriculum, exam scores, leadership experience and letters of recommendation. 3rd-party credential evaluation agencies, such as World Education Services, can assist in converting your institution's grade point average into the U.S. grading system, as well as establish U.S. degree equivalency. Please note that scholarships cannot be determined until after you apply for admission. Students will be informed of their scholarship eligibility with their offer of admission. Please email the admissions department if you require more details.

First Year Student Scholarships

SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS AND INCENTIVE GRANTS

Entering first year students with a minimum unweighted high school grade point average of 86 in college preparatory academic courses and a total SAT score of 1130 or an ACT score of 22 or higher will be considered. Please note that for the 2022-2023 enrollment year, we are SAT/ACT optional. We will still, however, require an English-language proficiency exam, in addition to the other admissions documents. These four-year awards range from $10,000 to $13,000, depending on academic and co-curricular qualifications. 3rd-party credential evaluation agencies, such as World Education Services, can assist in converting your institution's grade point average into the U.S. grading system.

Transfer Scholarships

The University recommends that all admissions forms (admissions applications, transcripts converted from a 3rd-party credential evaluation agency such as World Education Services, and English-language proficiency exams) be received on or before March 1 for fall entering students and September 15 for spring entering students.
