College Board AP Summer Institute

St. Joseph’s College has partnered with the College Board to provide a four-day AP Summer Institute at SJC Long Island for high school instructors teaching AP Psychology or AP Computer Science Principles courses in their school district.

This four-day workshop will be held at the Long Island campus of St. Joseph’s College on July 30, 2018 through August 2, 2018 from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The course will be taught by a College Board certified consultant and provide 30 hours of subject-specific professional development to equip teachers with content and resources to enhance their teaching of AP Psychology or AP Computer Science Principles courses. Additionally, teachers attending this Summer Institute will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and information with peers from other school districts in our region.

A $500 fee (or an early bird fee of $450 if paid prior to June 15th) is required to cover the cost of the workshop, the College Board workshop materials used, and breakfast and lunch for each of the four days. This fee is nonrefundable except in the event that the workshop is cancelled.  Please submit payment prior to July 8th to ensure that workshop materials are ordered and delivered to St. Joseph’s College in a timely manner.
