Counseling your students as they navigate the college search process can be challenging, especially when it comes to financing an education.
Part of the mission of St. Joseph’s College is to remain an affordable option in higher education. We are proud to still be the most affordable private school on Long Island while maintaining the strictest academic standards.
Students typically spend $1,000 on books annually, but more options are available to keep these costs low by purchasing used textbooks, renting textbooks or renting eBooks. Students may also be able to return their books and be compensated if the editions are being used the following year.
The Eagle’s Nest cafeteria is a spot for students to enjoy their breaks with great food and great company. A declining balance meal card (similar to a debit card) is available for purchase and allows students to budget their food expenses while on campus.
The following chart outlines the tuition and fees of peer institutions, both on Long Island and in the area. Impressively, St. Joseph’s College is significantly more affordable while continuing to provide a student-centered education that leads to career placement and graduate school acceptance.
