"My father is a businessman, so I knew I wanted to pursue a field in business. I also enjoy watching corporations change and grow through different communication tactics. These two fields have a strong connection.
"As a kid, I wanted to be a train engineer. Pretty big shift in career path I'd say ... Having just completed my MBA at SJC after my Bachelors in Communication studies and a minor in business, I plan on continuing my career at Lessing's Inc. as their social media coordinator.
"What made me decide on SJC was how close it was to home. I loved the fact that there seemed to be a very engaged group of students. My experience at SJC was fantastic. I actually met my future wife here!
"I was president of the Newman Club during the 2011-2012 school year and we won the co-curricular award from the Student government association."
"Goodnight Moon. I can't wait to read it to my kids some day."
"The world promises you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness." -- His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI
Who has been the biggest influence on your life and why?
"My parents. They have allowed me to pursue whatever field of study I had most interest in and I credit them for the motivation I have today."
Do you have any hobbies or talents? What do you do in your spare time?
"I'm a big golfer and still work part time on the weekends at a local golf course."
Who is your favorite professor and why?
"Kim Lavery. She was absolutely the best professor because she allowed thoughtful expression of opinion and respected every student she had. Professor Lavery was the one who convinced me that communication studies was the major for me, as a I was a bit lost, and I thank her for where I am today."
